The Rosenblum Twins Interview (Comedians)
by admin ·
The Rosenblum Twins, Stasea and Sheri
Hello ladies. Can you take a minute and introduce yourselves to the fans? Please tell us a little about yourselves and what you do for a living.
Hi there…we would like to introduce ourselves I’m Sheri and I’m Stasea and we are…everyman’s fantasy! (and some women)
We are a comedy duo!
I just visited your website and watched your video. Can you tell us about some of the stars that you have met?
Yes, Cher, Ray Romano Drew Carey…but our favorite, Sean Connery, a very private meeting in the Bahamas…all we have to say is Pussy…Pussy Galore!
I saw the two of you with Larry King. In fact, I saw you both kissing him. Are we going to start hearing tabloid reports that Larry King has a pair of girlfriends?
Well, we do like older men, but I think Larry King gets up too early for us, he’s at Nate & Al’s about the time we go to sleep!
Can you tell us a little it about your trip to Nellis Air Force Base?
Not really, it’s top secret. All I can say is that the mayor Oscar
Goodman, an old acquaintance, was performing beer bongs…We are sure that was suppose to be top secret.
What do you consider your greatest performance? Was it acting as the Double Down Twins?
Well, if you sneezed you missed us, if you went to the ladies room you for sure missed us…No I just don’t think we have had our greatest performance yet. More to come.
Is there any exclusive information that you can tell the NinjaPimp fans?
We will be launching our new radio show The Sheri & Stasea Show, No it’s the Stasea & Sheri Show on National Lampoon Radio in January on XM Satelite, TBA. We have other projects in development that we cannot talk about…hopefully soon! Oh, we will be on Sprint cell phones with “The Coors Light Twins” in early November, look for that orgy!
We here at NinjaPimp have interviewed a bunch of twins. This includes the Taylor Twins, Cali Marie and Cherish, The Potter Twins, and even the Hull Twins. What makes you unique?
Nothing really. We are just a science experiment…gone bad!
Where do you see yourself in five years? I know you have already been very successful in business.
Thank you for the acknowledgement. We will be having our own sitcom and it will not be called, TWINS!
Can you tell us about “Funny Girl?” Weren’t you supposed to be in that movie?
When we were little we were suppose to be the babies in “Funny Girl” with Barbra Streisand, but we were beat out by blondes. Much like our whole career.
Your page says that you worked with Playboy. What have you done with them?
Yes, we did a video a called “Twins & Sisters” we also performed a live show for a lingerie company on roller skates in gold lame! It was a little tough rolling through the grotto! Look for us in the magazine next year!
Do you have anything for sale, or anything that you want to tell your fans about?
We will, but it for sure won’t be a calendar!
Well, is there anything else you would like to talk about… maybe a questions for us?
Can you tell us your fascination with twins?
Ahhh, twins. We spoke with Missy and Mandy Taylor in Issue Three. All of a sudden our hits went through the roof. Then when we talked with Vanessa Helman in issue 13. The fans loved it. So we decided to interview all the hot twins on the Internet! You were the obvious choice to be next. Thanks for the question.
No, thank you! We are honored to be asked and a part of your art!

Pete Mitchell Interview (No More Kings Lead Singer)
by admin ·
Pete Mitchell
Pete Mitchell – No More Kings

No More Kings are a Los Angeles-based rock band fronted by lead singer Pete Mitchell (born September 7th, 1973 in Providence, Rhode Island). No More Kings’ music is known for its frequent references to figures in pop culture, most notably Johnny Lawrence from The Karate Kid, Michael and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, Johnny 5 from Short Circuit, and Dungeons and Dragons. The band’s songs are written by Pete along with his longtime friend Neil Robins of the Louisville-based band Dirt Poor Robins.
No More Kings have played shows all across the U.S. since 2006, playing most frequently in Los Angeles.
The name “No More Kings” comes from an episode of Schoolhouse Rock!, one of many of No More Kings’ inspirations. The particular episode dealt with the Pilgrims leaving England, seeking freedom and independence.
Pete studied fine art in college and has worked for Disney and the Jim Henson Company; he is an accomplished animator and also speaks Japanese. He designed the interior album art for the band’s first album as well as the album art and packaging for their second album. Pete claims his main sources of musical inspiration are the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Radiohead, Billy Joel, Beck, and Genesis.
Gentlemen, welcome to NinjaPimp Online Magazine. How are you doing today? Doing great! Today is a beautiful day in sunny Los Angeles. The birds are singing. The dogs are barking. Love is all around.
Can you introduce the band members for us? Sure. There are six of us: six young strapping lads. On guitar, we have Christian Wojcik and Josh Taylor. Playing the super-bass we have Beau Burtnick. Kicking the tasty grooves on the drums, we have David “D.G.” Grant. Tickling the keys is my man Timmy Maglothin. And I’m Pete Mitchell. I sing.
So how did your come up with your band name? Can you tell us about it? The band name is from an episode of School House Rock. I grew up watching those little animations. I pretty much got all my history lessons from those things. Anyway, “No More Kings” was a song about the pilgrims coming over from England. I loved the sense of the American independent spirit that the song evoked.
We love your “Sweep the Leg” video. Whose idea was that? Thanks! Yeah, that video was a lot of fun to make. We are going to be rolling out a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage of it on www.sweeptheleg.com very soon. The idea really came from Billy Zabka, the guy that played Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid. He really just went nuts with it, and got everybody from the movie back together. It was so fun to be part of that, and watch it unfold.
What was the best part of filming that? Great question. There was a lot about that video that I loved. Probably the best moments for me were all the wire stunts – jumping up onto the bus, the Matrix crane kick stuff, and falling through the ceiling of the tournament. I mean, I had never done anything like that before. It was really exhilarating.
What do the fans thing of the video? The fans love it. Even people that don’t like the song or the band love the video. I think it tapped into 23 years of fan subculture.
Who or what inspired the song “Leaving Lilliput”? I really enjoy the Gulliver’s Travels theme. Ted Danson.
“Zombie Me” is also a great. Who wrote that? I did [Pete]. I write all the lyrics and melodies for the songs. And my buddy Neil Robins [of the band Dirt Poor Robins], writes all the instrumentation. We’re like Batman and Robin. Or Batman and Robins…Dirt Poor Batman.
Are all of those songs on one CD? If so, what is it and where can we buy it? They are! Thanks for asking. It’s all on one action-packed CD, available on iTunes, amazon.com, and most retail stores.
Our website is www.afro-squad.com. What do you think of the site? I love “Episode Zero”! Neil and I used to make tons of ninja movies in my backyard. We broke my parents’ camcorder at least three times. So the Afro-Squad stuff brings back happy memories for me. I also love that the speedometer says “holy crap”. Great stuff! Mad nunchuck skills, too.
What do you think of our band the Protagons and our video “Episode Zero”? Featured Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFrGLbBMow4 You know, you are always welcome to use our characters SnowMan and KrazyMan in your future videos. I couldn’t get any of the music to work, but as I said, I loved the video. Great stuff.
What NMK projects would you like to talk about? Right now, we are gearing up to shoot the next video for our song “Michael (Jump In)”. So I’m really excited. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Lots of crazy stunts.
What does the future hold for NMK? We’ve got high hopes for the future. Flying cars. Talking robotic servants. Fluffier dogs. But specifically for No More Kings, we are currently working on our own ice-cream flavor. Due out next year. We’re getting ready to head back out on tour. The road. The long and winding road. And then hopefully start recording our second album. Can Afroman sing?
What would you like to say to your fans? I know everyone does this, but I really want to thank our fans for continuing to support us. Because of our MySpace plays, we are able to book better shows, and more of them. So in our case, the fans really do make all the difference. We love getting messages from our fans, and we always love meeting people at shows. We’ve got some exciting plans for our street team as well. So we encourage anyone who’s interested in joining to please go to www.nomorekings.com. You can shoot zombies there, too.
Is there anything else you would like to talk about? I think that’s all. Thank you so much for interviewing us. I look forward to the next Afro Squad episode! Maybe someday we can match our kung fu skills and join forces!

Ivan Interview (Film Maker)
by admin ·
Independent Filmmaker, Ivan
another exclusive NinjaPimp interview!
Ivan, can you tell us a little bit about your job?
Many might think that my job is fairy simple. A camera, some lights, naked girls and there ya’ have it. It can be that simple, I try to go the extra step. Making movies that people not only can spank to but be entertained by. I was once told that renters often keep and buy the DVD’s, which is from where a lot of distribution comes from … re-orders. So I try to put something in each movie to make it worth keeping for the customer. I have re-done the Texas Chainsaw Massacre final chase but with two naked girls and a 3 foot #&#^! replacing the chainsaw. I have done up skirt hula hoop teases, funny vignettes, guess the camel toe games, etc. etc. I love my job and I love giving fans interesting things to look at. Plus yes the girls are hot, the girls are fun, and sometimes the perks are way okay.
What movies have you worked on?
I have a line called Ivan’s S^@&-O-RAMA presents, it’s a horror spoof line which has been very successful. The first in the series Texas’ @$$#0L# Massacre was nominated for 3 AVN Awards including Best Comedy, Video. It was also nominated for the Best Comedy at the XRCO Awards. And won Best Parody from Adam Film World Adult Guide Awards. The second was Dawn of the Head and currently has three pre-noms including the Best Comedy again. I am currently working on The Sex Sense. I also do an Asian gonzo line “Youth ‘N’ Asia”, a vignette series “Sexual Predator” and recently took over Tom Byron’s @$$ Eaters Unanimous. I have edited over 70 movies and did camera on over 40 movies for Evolution Erotica and Extreme Associates.
What would you consider your best work?
By far my favorites are my two $LU!-O-Ramas, I did horror movies before getting into porn and it was a natural transition. I love Sexual Predator ..2, it was my first true vision and baby. I cherish the Killer Klown vignette, it was in my head for over a year before I shot it. In the order I guess it’s Texas’ @$$#0LE Massacre, Sexual Predator 1 & 2, and Dawn of the Head.
What is the most amazing thing you have seen during a video?
(Edited) My most amazing video moment has to be shooting the Texas chase scene and watching the chase footage from my little Kodak camera with a fisheye. Everyone always comments on those shots. I am very proud of it and the two girls involved, Kami Andrews and Gia Paloma…
Does anything in the business bother you?
I love women, a lot. I can not stand seeing how some men mistreat them. On my shoots I treat everyone with the respect I wish to be treated with. Every female performer is someone’s daughter, sister, mother, wife, and/or girlfriend. They have a life when the camera stops rolling. I think many people forget that. I know of guys not hiring girls or even make-up artists unless the girls give them “favors”. I don’t hire performers male or female that disrespect others or have no clue on how to be professionally inept. Like showing up on time or prepared. The drug use I am not a fan of, but to each his own. Just keep it away from me and my space.
Who are the best photographers in the business?
I have worked with a few photographers so far. I have stayed exclusive with my companies and know of who I have been around. Kris King is amazingly talented, so is Joel Jet who is our regular guy. I have to be bias, my friend Mark Milano who is no longer with our company is my favorite. He is a great friend and a very creative guy. He used to take these great set shots of me, I use two of them still on my business cards. He has now started shooting video as well. I often tell him he needs to make a coffee table book, I would be the first in line for it.
Who are the best people to work with?
People that can separate the business part from it. It’s still a business, treat it that way. Be on time, be prepared, and be into it. Of course having people who enjoy sex is a huge plus. You can talk someone into doing so much.
Who are the worst people to work with?
There are girls, girls in every sense of the word, that think they are pre-Madonna’s. Throwing attitude, showing up whenever they please, being high on set. I can’t imagine how some of these people live their lives without a babysitter. We had one girl tell us she doesn’t wear a watch so she wouldn’t know how late she is. Recently we had an agent bring a girl an hour late and during stills while getting her into position, we realized he never told her what type of scene it was. Scene was cancelled, this agent is notorious for this. I won’t be using him again.
Who are the best directors?
From my short expansion into the industry, I have gathered that Best comes with many aspects. Where they work, what they do, the budgets for hiring better/worse talent, how they deal with performers, how they treat people around them. Anyone can turn on the camera and say “fuck!”. I believe the best directors are well-rounded in their field and are always looking to improve. I have seen people around a long time who know only enough to push the red button and record sex … and I know people who deserve the break that they ares still waiting for. I am not sure who are the best, I guess these days we will go by who sells the most.
Are drugs a regular part of the adult movie business?
I think drugs come with any business. When I worked in TV and Film, I saw as much as I did in p0rn. It’s just in porn some people over do it. I am straight-edge, shit don’t even drink coffee. But d@mn do I love to eat. That’s my drug. I don’t see why people act as if drugs are so cool, prancing around telling stories. Does anyone respect some who keeps saying they love pills? Or are the a butt of all jokes? Some people use drugs to get through the day, some use it get what they need, and others are very responsible with them. I just came of a pretty extensive psychological mind-f#&k and depression. Some people would say get high, drink, loosen up. I didn’t and you know what it was hard but at the end worth. The pain was bad, the emotions were heart wrenching but at least I let my mind heal itself as it is supposed to do.
I think in moderation everything is okay. Do what you will as long as you are not hurting anyone around you especially friends and family.
How safe is it for a girl to work in the business?
The safety for the girls in the business is pretty high. They choose who they work with, what they do, and how. I know sometimes they are pressured or asked but eventually it’s their decision. I believe it’s safer then stripping or escorting. God knows who you might run into or work with in those fields. I have more horror stories from stripping and dancing then ever in p0rn.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Honestly I see myself in the business, hopefully with a small successful company. Running it with a nice woman in my life. My ex-girlfriend and I often talked about a dream like that. We have a few friends who are living this dream right now. I can also see myself settling down and running a small bakery in a small town. I need a simple relaxing conclusion, no partying just my XBox 720, a big screen TV, DirectTV football package, and lady. Hopefully by then LA will have a team. Go Los Angeles Stars! (my prediction on the team and name)
How often do you work per week?
I edit daily but probably shoot 2 to 3 scenes a week. Usually a scene a day. Besides shooting during the day, I make my own schedule. Often editing late night to early morning, it’s more peaceful that way. I spend a lot of time working on my website and doing extensive journals about my daily existence. cheap plus coming … IamIVAN.com :)
Do you have anything to say to NinjaPimp’s fans?
Stay tuned for more cool SL#&-O-Rama movies, give them a chance you might find them entertaining. And just maybe I will have a ninja pimp in my next movie ;)
We’d love to see a NinjaPimp in your next movie. Especially if it was an evil one! Thanks for a very insightful interview. I wish you the best. Please keep in touch!

J.C. Ice (Jamie Dundee) Interview
by SnowMan
Jamie Dundee was a WWE superstar as part of the Nation of Domination. He is a second generation wrestler who has wrestled in the USWA and ECW. He’s also a long-time friend of the ‘Squad.
Iceman, how are you doing today?
I’m great. Thanks a lot.
Let’s start with your earlier days in wrestling. You’ve had a fantastic career, so we have a lot to talk about. First, is your father and how did you get started in wrestling?
WELL FOR THOSE THAT DON’T KNOW MY FATHER IS “SUPER STAR” BILL DUNDEE. MY BROTHER-IN-LAW IS “BEAUTIFUL” BOBBY EATON. WRESTLING IS AND HAS BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE! I WAS TRAINED BY MY DAD OF COURSE, BUT I WASN’T REALLY TRAINED. WHEN MY DAD HAD A WRESTLING SCHOOL, I WAS THE CRASH DUMMY. EVERY BODY LEARNED BY DOING MOVES ON ME SO I GUESS THAT IS HOW I WAS TRAINED.
I read on Wikipedia some sort of story with Tommy Rich and piercing your ears. Would you like to comment on that?
WELL, I WAS 4YRS OLD. MY DAD AND TOMMY RICH THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO GET ME DRUNK AND PIERCE MY EAR WITH AN ICE CUBE AND A NEEDLE! SO I GUESS YOU COULD SAY THAT’S WHEN MY CAREER WAS STARTED!
I remember watching you in USWA. What did you think of that organization?
I THOUGHT USWA WAS GREAT IT WAS A PLACE WITH ALL BIG STARS OF TODAY AND YESTERDAY! I CAME TO LEARN TO WRESTLE. IT WASN’T BIG MONEY BECAUSE THOSE NO GOOD “JARRETTS” KEPT IT ALL! HOWEVER, IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN! SO I LIKED IT FOR THE MOST PART. IT WAS THE PLACE THAT FED MY WHOLE FAMILY SINCE WE CAME TO AMERICA IN 1975. (FROM AUSTRALIA)
You must of held the tag team titles at least 15 times. That’s pretty impressive. However, what do you consider your biggest early successes?
YES ME AND “WOLFIE” {PG-13} HELD THEM 16 TIMES AND THEN I HELD THEM TWICE WITH MY DAD. IT WAS 18 TIMES TOTAL. MY BIGGEST SUCCESSES WERE MOST DEFINITELY BEING A PART OF “WRESTLEMANIA”13, IN 1997. I MEAN THAT IS IT! THAT IS THE TOP OF THE WORLD! IT IS THE BIG DANCE! ONCE YOU GET THERE, YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE MADE IT AS A “PRO WRESTLER!”
THERE ARE A MILLION WRESTLERS, BUT ONLY A HANDFUL EVER GET TO THE BIG DANCE. I AM GLAD I WAS ONE OF THEM!
Didn’t you work in ECW too? How was that? Can you tell us a little about your ECW time?
YES, I WORKED ECW FOR 3 YEARS (96-97-98) I WAS IN TAGS WITH “WOLFIE” AND IN SINGLES. HOW WAS IT? IT WAS GREAT! IT WAS THE BEST FUN I’VE HAD IN WRESTLING! IT WAS A FAMILY IT WAS A MAFIA TYPE SETTING! WE LET NO OUTSIDERS IN. THAT’S WHY IT WAS SO GREAT. WE WERE A FAMILY. THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PUT IT. WELL, TO TELL YOU A LITTLE ABOUT IT… LOTS OF DRUGS AND WOMAN! DID IN TELL YOU LOTS OF DRUGS? YES, THAT WAS IT… DRUGS! WE’D WRESTLE, PARTY, AND GET LAID! THEN WE WOULD DO IT AGAIN! I DON’T REMEMBER MUCH OF IT. IT COULD OF BEEN THE DRUGS!
Other than Jamie Dundee, what names have you used in the ring?
WELL {PG-13}WITH WOLFIE D.
THE NATION OF DOMINATION{WWF}96-97.
THE CYBER PUNKS {PG-13} IN MASK AFTER OUR LOSER LEAVE TOWN..
When were you having the most fun in your career?
I THINK ECW! LIKE I SAID, I DON’T REALLY REMEMBER THEM DAYS! I’M SURE THAT THEY WERE FUN!
IN 97-98 WE (PG-13) WORKED FOR THREE COMPANIES AT THE SAME TIME! MONDAY WAS WITH THE WWF. TUESDAY THROUGH THRUSDAY WAS WITH USWA. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WAS ECW. THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN. ALL THE TRAVELING AND PARTYING WAS GREAT, BUT IT TAKES A TOLL ON YOUR BODY. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN.
Do you have any lowlights in your career? If so, what was one of those moments?
IN MY CAREER, I NEVER HAD ANY BECAUSE I BROUGHT EVERYTHING ON MYSELF, GOOD AND BAD. SO I NEVER WAS ONE TO SEE IT AS A LOWLIGHT. I MEAN FROM WRESTLEMANIA, THERE IS NO WHERE TO GO BUT DOWN. I DON’T REALLY THINK I HAD ANY LOWS. I HAD A LOT OF “HIGHS.”
Do you have a website or myspace page? What are they?
WWW.JAMIEDUNDEE.COM, BUT I NEVER REALLY GO THERE. I’M ALL ABOUT “MYSPACE.” I LOVE TOM!
What are your thoughts of Wolfie D and PG-13?
WELL WOLFIE IS MY BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER! I MEAN WHEN YOU SPEND 360 DAYS A YEAR TOGETHER, FOR 10 YRS, YOU ARE A KIND OF FAMILY. AS FAR AS PG-13, ALL I NEED TO SAY IS THAT THERE’S NONE BETTER. WE WERE THE BEST LIL’ TAG TEAM IN WRESTLING FOR TEN YEARS!
Do you have any musical roots? I heard you helped create some theme songs? Is that true?
NONE I CANT CARRY A TUNE IN A BUCKET! WE DID WRITE A RAP FOR THE NATION OF DOMINATION THOUGH.
Who is your favorite opponent?
MY FAVORITE OPPONENT WAS… DAMN TUFF QUESTION! IT WAS THE ROCK-N-ROLL EXPRESS!
OTHER GREATS INCLUDE:
DOUG GILBERT AND TOMMY RICH {USWA}
THE DUDLEY BOYS {ECW HARD CORE HEAVEN 97}
THE ELIMINATORS {USWA-ECW}
THE ROAD WARRIORS {WWF}
THE SMOKING GUNNS {WWF}
SPIKE DUDLEY MICKEY WHIPWRECK{ECW]
THE GANGSTERS {ECW} AND SO MANY MORE
What have been your biggest matches?
WRESTLEMANIA 13 -1997 CHICAGO STREET FIGHT
HARDCORE HEAVEN 97 VS THE DUDLY BOYS/W JENNA JAMISON
SMOKING GUNNS 1995 MONDAY NIGHT RAW {OUR FIRST WWF SHOW} FOR THE WWF TITLES

Where can fans see you now?
I NOW WORK ALL INDEPENDENTS EVERYWHERE …BUT IM PUTTING MY BOOTS DOWN IN CHICAGO FOR POWW
POWWENTERTAINMENT.COM. THAT IS WHERE I’LL BE AFTER THE NEW YEAR, FULL TIME.
What do you think of my recent afro-squad video?
I THINK ITS VERY ENTERTAINING …FUNNY STUFF.

RON SIMMONS {FAROOQ}
BRIAN ADAMS {GRUSH} RIP MY FRIEND YOU ARE TRULY MISSED LOVE YA BROTHER
D-LOW BROWN
SAVIO VEGA
CLARENCE MASON
What did you think of the WWE?
THE MONEY WAS GOOD, BUT THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE SHOW ARE JACKOFFS. THERE ARE POLITICS AND BULL$HIT! IT IS GARBAGE! THEY ONLY USE IT WHEN ITS GOOD FOR THEM. THEY LOVE ASS KISSING. I’M NOT IN TO KISSONG NO ASS FOR NO REASON!
What is your favorite WWE memory?
OF COURSE WRESTLMANIA 13!
Is there anything you would like to promote or talk about?
YES POWWENTERTAINMENT.COM! WHERE SUPER HEROES COME TO LIFE “POWW”
Is there anything you would like to ask us at the AfroSquad?
YES WHEN YOU GONNA PUT THE “ICEMAN” IN ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS?
Next time we are Chicago, for sure! Thanks for your time!

8 Ways to Shoot Better Wrestling Videos for YouTube
by admin ·
Norm originally posted this on Wrestling911.com. I thought it was a great article, and I wanted to report.
In my last post “Let There Be Light” I sort of kicked some urn ashes in the face of wrestling promoters who use consumer grade video cameras to tape their shows.
Don’t get me wrong — you can actually get outstanding HD results from today’s top consumer grade video cameras like this one:

This is the Sony Handycam HDR-CX12. This particular camera will yield Blu Ray quality video, provided the light and the guy operating the camera are both good.
For the American Championship Freefighting screener, we went all out and used two Canon XH-A1′s:

This is a pro camcorder used by TV networks like The Discovery Channel and Nat Geo.
But you don’t have to. We did because we were pitching a TV show concept to a cable network and we knew right away one of their first questions would be, “What did you shoot this with?” and if we told them, “A Sony handheld that we bought from Best Buy,” they’d roll their eyes and throw our proposal in the garbage.
But if you’re just shooting indy shows to put up on YouTube, a consumer camera like the one I mentioned above can yield TV quality results if you do the right things.
So here’s a list of eight tips to improve the quality of your match videos:
1. Put light on the subject…and lots of it. Our eyes work a heck of a lot better than today’s digital cameras. You ever notice that when you take a picture of something indoors that looks perfectly good to your naked eye, it looks terrible in your picture? That’s because our eyes perform much better than cameras in low light. Cameras need lots and lots and lots of light to work properly. That’s why pictures taken outdoors in the morning look so much better than pictures taken indoors.
2. Use a tripod, monopod, or camera stabilizer. Low light video is really, really bad. Even worse is shaky video. Shaky video screams, “Newb!” more than anything else. When shooting a wrestling show, you want at least one of your camera guys to move around the outside of the ring to capture shots, yet you still want the shots to stabilized. In this case, use a monopod or a camera stabilizer. A monopod is like a tripod except it only has one leg and moves around a lot easier. Photographers on the sidelines of NFL games use them all the time.
A camera stabilizer looks like this:

It braces the camera against your camera man’s shoulder but still allows him to move around freely.
Trust me on this — do NOT shoot your videos with the camera just held in your hand! Stabilize!
3. Fill the frame. By this I mean, the frame of the camera should be filled with the subject. In this case subject is the two guys in the ring. When you watch the video, the bodies of the two guys in the ring should fill up the entire frame.
Here’s an example of what I mean. This sucks:

This does not:

The first picture was taken by a total newb who made one of the most common fatal mistakes of photography — trying to capture too much with one shot. The second picture was taken by the same photographer after she had learned the ropes. Notice that she crops lots of things out of the picture — the girl’s lower legs, feet, and even the head of her racket! That’s OK, though. The viewer’s mind can extrapolate that she’s holding a tennis racket. No need to see it.
See the difference? Fill your frame! Read more on this subject here: http://www.digital-photography-school.com/fill-your-frame
4. Avoid zooming in and out. This is another classic newb mistake. Amateur videographers just love to zoom in on this and then zoom out on that and then zoom in on that over there. The resulting video is enough to make the viewer seasick. Ever watch the show “Cops”? The videography they employ is very much like that of indy pro wrestling. And you know what? They zoom very little. So zoom in and out only when 100% necessary.
5. Get closer to fill the frame. You know now that you need to fill your frame from the advice from tip 3. But be careful of using zoom on your camera to fill it! Oftentimes it’s better to just physically get closer to your subject to fill the frame than to zoom. Why? Because the more you zoom, the shakier your video is. Instead, get up on the ring apron, hang the camera over the top rope, then zoom in the remaining amount until your frame is filled with the bodies of the guys in the ring.
6. Use manual exposure. This is another newb mistake. Lots of guys just grab their video camera, pop in a tape, hit RECORD, and let the camera do the rest. This often yields terrible results because the camera then uses its auto exposure feature. When you use auto exposure, your camera — a dumb machine — guesses how bright each shot should be. So let’s say your shooting two guys about to run the ropes. Your camera is focused on the two guys. The camera sets the exposure and everything looks fine. But then the guys start running the ropes and you pan the camera to follow the action. As you pan, suppose you pass by one of the fluorescent light up in the ceiling. Well guess what? Your camera is going to say, “Hey! That’s too much light!” and it darkens the scene, meaning your subject — the guy running the ropes — suddenly gets real dark. Once you pan the camera away from the light, the scene gets bright again. This looks awful. Avoid this by setting exposure manually. You should set the exposure on the wrestlers in the ring and then lock it in. If you pan the camera and pass over a light source, that light source will appear really bright for the second or two that it’s in the frame, but that’s OK.
7. Use an external microphone. The mic on your camcorder is terrible. Don’t use it. Get a decent external mic from Radio Shack and mount it onto the camera.
