The upcoming singing sensation is one of the few whos bringing R&B and Hip-Hop, an Alternative twist. The soulful and soothing sounds of this delectable but down to earth cutie are anything short of incredible. The multi-talented superstar in the making has a quiver of gifts we’ve discovered. Learning and mastering such instruments as the piano; guitar; drums; marimba; xylophone; steel pans; and pretty much anything else you can hit, push, press, or shake. This 23-year-old prodigy enjoys the feeling she expresses through her music.
With her incredible lyrics and warm and unique voice, Giel’s music takes you on a journey back to the soulful croons of Rhythm & Blues onto the styles and message understood in Alternative. Not to mention the tangible stories of everyday life as told in Hip-Hop. Her amiable aura, unique style and inviting smile guarantees to have you by the first note.

So, can you tell us a little about your music?
My music is a fusion of sounds, I like to call it Alternative R&B Soul with a twist of Hip-Hop…Somebody might say that’s too much but its what I embody. The story that Alternative music tells, the passion and heart felt emotions that u feel from R&B/ Soul and the memorable beats that get you moving with Hip-Hop…

Do you enjoy singing?
It is an indescribable JOY! I love to sing, and I love to play my instruments.
What is the last club that you played?
Well It will be Club Oxygen in the Grove (Miami) since I have an appearance on the 20th of this Month. Before that It was Club Nocturnal (the GLASS ROOM)
What was your favorite performance?
I would have to say my Hard Rock Performance at JAZZIZ in Hollywood. I was able to really get to express who I am and what my music really is.
What was your least favorite performance?
I don’t really have a least favorite. I try to learn from every show and better myself to put on an amazing show every time.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself being established and at the height of my career, being a multi-platinum and a Grammy award recipient. Definitely expanding my professional career to other levels of Entertainment and I would like to be apart of a venture to help more kids find an outlet into music. Whether it be performing arts schools or programs…
Does singing pay the bills?
Lol!!! Its getting there! God-Willing…

I actually like to make beaded jewelry…and of course writing, poetry, and songs…

I love music in general and cant say one song in particular…there are so many genres.

Gotta few…Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Donnie Hathaway, Alanis Morsett, Whitney Houston, Debra Cox, Tina Marie, Bob Marley, Indie Arie, Diana Ross, and Luther Vandross
Who is your least favorite singer?
Lol! I respect everyone and their crafts My Favorites are just the ones I listen to the most…
What is a normal Saturday night like for you?
If I am not singing somewhere or appearing at a function or gathering, then Im at Home with my family getting WHATEVER rest I can get…lol!
