The Mother-In-Law of Brandon Florida
Brandon, Florida was once known as New Hope, Florida. Although other settlers made it to New Hope before the Brandon family, many people consider these settlers the founding family of the city.
Susan Carson arrived by wagon train with her family. Her daughter Martha Carson Brandon and step-son John Brandon. In 1957 Susan passed away and was buried in what became the family cemetery.
